Most of you may be familiar with the SBA’s primary website–www.sba.gov–but did you also know they have another business site on the Web? Originally launched in 2004, business.gov’s focus was on starting, growing and financing small businesses, but after numerous requests from site users, the site’s switched gears. It’s now re-launched as a one-stop shop for small-business owners to easily access information on government regulations and compliance. Users can find forms and information on a variety of topics pertaining to small businesses, including taxes, immigration laws, workplace safety and environmental regulations.
One of the best and most cost efficient ways to learn about running your small business is by finding online resources. The Internet is where you’ll find a goldmine of information, not only from official governing bodies, but also from business owners who simply want to share their experiences and thoughts to help other small business owners. Business.gov is one of those sites that you must visit regularly to learn about what’s happening in the world of business.
